So it's my fault really guys, I let the spammers get to me and even after being away for a couple months to deal with some stuff in my personal life, I come back and I have over 800 messages, half of which are people noting me asking for donations even though I specifically said I wasn't doing them anymore.

Hey guys,

I don't want to be a grumpy old person but I'm getting a bit frustrated and need to make some things clear.

I pay for all the points I donate and memberships I give away, with my own money. I am not a charity, I do not ask for donations and then re-distribute them. I work hard at my job and spend a portion of my earnings each month on points and memberships to give away.

I do this because I enjoy going around DeviantArt at random and finding artists and users who are kind, hardworking, friendly people and giving them something that will surprise them and make them smile. I do this because doing good things for people makes me happy.

I have always said, if you want or need points, feel free to ask me, just be polite about it. I love helping out as much as I can but sometimes I really can't afford it. As much as I would love to give you all a bunch of points and memberships - I can't. This is why I prefer to donate to random Deviants.

I have been receiving a lot of spam for points. While I did expect a bit of this, as comes with the territory when you donate freely, it is getting to the point where I am having to 'hide' several comments on my page from a single person. If you spam me, asking for points, obviously I am not going to give you any - I will also report you. It's just annoying and I'm tired of it.

From now on if you want to ask me for points please NOTE me. That way I can chat to you about it and if need be explain properly if I cannot give them to you at that moment in time.

I do not donate for self promotion. I never donate and ask for something in return.  In fact, DO NOT *WATCH me or *FAVOURITE any of my things if you simply want a donation. Mainly so I will not feel obliged to have to donate to you if I can't afford to but also so you won't get annoyed that you did something for me and I am unable to give you something in return.

Some people are being quite rude to me even when I have donated to them. Unfortunately I can't take points back but I can block you. If you're going to be rude to me when I have done something nice to you and you do not think it's enough - do not ask me for something in the first place.

AS A RESULT OF THIS THE POINTS FAIRY IS ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. I WILL NOT BE DONATING ANY MORE UNTIL I DECIDE OTHERWISE

The Freebies for Fearless release still stand! I will still be giving away points and memberships for that - but anything that is not related to that is on hold.

I haven't disappeared I swear! I'm uber sorry I haven't been as active this month as I usually am but I have been super-duper busy!

I have been working madly on Fearless and half panicking because I'm worried it won't be polished in time. It's only a week until it's due to come out now and I'm rushing against the clock! Already I have had to cut back on a lot of the content in the first chapter - mainly because it just wasn't going to be possible to cram that much in. It hasn't been removed, just pushed to the second chapter, so all in good time!

As for Hollow the novel I have been working towards getting published - I have had to scrap that. Which is quite frustrating considering I am waiting on art work for it to be done but the way things have gone - my creative juicy for that outlet has dried up and I simply cannot bring myself to work on it anymore.

I do have a new idea for a series, I haven't given it a proper name but I have tossed up the possibility of calling it Ransom. Again, I haven't decided if I'm going to submit this online or keep it for publishing seeing as it's a relatively fresh idea. To give you some idea, it follows a group of men - Xavier Collins, Micah Daniels, Nicolas White, Peter Andrews and Rafe Fern; but is viewed from the outside perspective of a woman called Billie Smith. We'll see where I go with that once Fearless is on it's way!

Last week a friend directed me to Tumblr. I don't use Facebook or Twitter and while I had heard of Tumblr I had never used it before. Suffice to say it only took a couple minutes and I was addicted.

I have learned/seen stuff on that sight that cannot be unseen/unlearned. However, some of it was kickass awesome and it was amazing to see such ready feeds of images/gifs/posts on things that I have a keen interest in; like my favourite tv shows or movies. So now I am addicted to Tumblr and I spent the better part of my day on it, I have no idea how to customise my page to make it funky like everyone else's though, which bothers me a tad.

I would offer my Tumblr URL for you to add me if you had one but seeing as my page consists mostly of Supernatural/Sherlock fan porn, I don't think that's something you would want to see.

Anyway, that's my quick update, you probably won't hear from me again until late Saturday night when I'm trying to make final touches before submission!!

Firstly I just want to mention, although I have had boyfriends and been engaged, I have zero experience in dating.

I know, I know weird but the guys I've been with have either already been my friends ((hence the 'first date' thing was never done)) or just never actually bothered to take me out. Slack, right? Trust me, I KNOW!


Sooooooo tomorrow I will be going on my first-first date!


My best friend Amber and I had lunch last week and I mentioned having seen a mutual friend from Primary School in passing on the train. Within an hour she had found out he was single and had organised for him to go out with us on a group outing that following Monday.

Now I don't know how she does it but that girl has some serious "Love Mojo". Not only did the guy ask for my number at the end of the day out with friends but to my utter stupor he asked me out on the date for the coming weekend which will take place - tomorrow.

Now Dating is freaking weird. There's all these unspoken rules that I've never heard of before:
- Wait for him to text first.
- Wait for him to call first.
- Don't come off too desperate.
- Let him plan the first date - that one is especially hard for me because I'm a control freak...
- Don't ask him back to your place after the date, it's too soon.
- Don't wear too much makeup but DO show ample cleavage.

I'm going into this pretty blind but that's the fun of it. It's exhilarating in a half nauseous kind of way!

He's picking me up around lunch tomorrow, finally a guy who has his own car *sends thank you to The Powers That Be*! We're going ice-skating and then probably out for a bite to eat. :]

This is pretty exciting for me, especially after coming out of a bad breakup. It's also had me in such good spirits that I've been writing a lot more! On that note I am on track with Fearless and cannot wait to hand it over to you all!
